Why is it that as soon as I’m finished knitting something I completely lose interest? Let’s face it: it’s rare to knit something that fits perfectly or that’s flattering. I knew, going into this project, that the fit wasn’t likely to be flattering. It’s a fisherman’s sweater, not a city girl sweater.
But maybe I’m overly critical – I was wearing this last night (stylishly paired with floral pyjama bottoms) when we had the first genuine sweater weather of the year and Pip said it was “very editorial.” He’s too kind.
I’ve already finished another little project. It just needs a bit of a wash before I take some pictures and post. Speaking of which, how sad is it that my phone is a better camera than my camera?
